Tea

Tea
I love tea , even when I was a kid , to have a cuppa tea before bed with a little milk and sugar was one of my fave treats , it made me feel like a little lady . Earl Grey is my fave for hot tea , Twinnings is the best IMHO .
I do drink coffee sometimes but I never make it , and I only like it from fresh ground beans ( <---beverage snob) and usually only hazelnut .
When I was in England I was chidded for drinking iced tea . I get hot easy so I drink a lot of iced tea . Earl Grey is black tea with bergamot oil added , it does not make the best iced tea just as I think green tea is nicer iced than hot .
For xmas we got a large collection of Boston Teas ( I had never heard of the company before that) so I have been making a new Iced tea every day or two , some are nice and a couple so far have been awful . I will share the results of my tea experiments with you here as I try them . First I tried the chai , I thought it was going to be like the spiced chai you get at Mediterranean restaurants but it wasn't it was disgusting , I binned it . Then I tried a peach flavored white tea , that was pretty yummy . Yesterday I tried Boston's mango tea , it's a flavored black tea .I think I over steeped it a bit but it would have been better with a lighter tea , it was a bit perfumy , by the third glass I was developing a taste for it . Today's iced tea is pomegranate green tea and is very yummy . Check back to see what tommorrow's tea will be .

fetal lambskin

I could not believe it when I heard about it but it is true I have checked it out . The newest fashion trend is fetal lambskin , that's right , as sick and savage as it sounds . They literally cut the fetus out of the mother to harvest the skin/wool in it's most virgin state . No word from the senate about this heinous trend , I guess it's ok if you use animal fetuses as a fashion accessory/statement but we're all going to hell over stem cell research . Human beings suck eggs , y'know ...aborted chickens. <----sarcasm

btw New Mexico is doing very well , better than some states anyway getting stem cell research pushed through .

P.S. if stem cell research offends you or you are against it that's cool I don't exspect everyone to share my views

This is Spinal Tap

I'm just watching ST for the first time in over 20 yrs and it is still hilarious . Actually maybe even more so now since I was only 14 when it first came out so I actually get it more now . Knowing more backstories to my fave bands , the very ones they are spoofing actually makes it all the more enduring and funny . I wonder though if the bands that inspired it enjoyed it as much as the fans . Hopefully they're big enough that they didn't feel offended , artists can be very sensitive . obviously they would take it differently than fans because it hits close to home for them . I wonder if any of them ever made comments about the movie in interviews? If you know of any please let me know .

Still no hits to my blog . I was never one for keeping a diary or journal . It strange to me . I know I need to do a lot more work on the site still but I would really like some feedback .

I completely pissed away the day yesterday so I really do need to get some things done . I'll post again later but not until I get at least 4 things on my list done .

housework-groan

o.k. it's Sat/26th this is only my second blog , no one has read the first so this is prob. pointless .
I still haven't finished setting up my blogspot , got frustrated and decided to do what I usually do in cases like these and just put it off .
My ma's 75th bday was yesterday . using the $100 my sister Denise sent her we took some friends out for dinner at Fridays (her choice) the food was bearable but the company was grand , had a good time . Ma drank a daquiri bigger than her head , got her on vid looking right tipsy , I'll have to upload (when I figure out how).

I should be doing housework right now , but decided to post blog so I could put off chores . I was going to put off posting new blog post but that meant doing chores aarrrggghhh!

5 bloody cats make for a lot of chores and they're completely useless . I do love the little buggers though I'll have to post pics and vids of them then you'll understand why we put up with them .

oh thank god , I found a mess of Spaced episodes on youtube . I'll have to put off chores until I've watched every available episode in case they get removed , you never know .

Damn , I really must get the house sorted before my sis comes to visit . I've been smoking in the house (v naughty I know). I just bought a space heater for the garage so I really have no excuse other than the aforementioned Spaced episodes .

I am truly pathetic , I mean it's only going to get worse the longer I put it off . Why is it so hard to get motivated . I know I'll feel really great when it's done . Gravity sucks , right now it is sucking my bottom to the sofa .
It is 4:39 and I have gotten absolutely nothing done today!!! Unless you count this post .
